At TikTok Wrapped 2026, we believe your personal data should stay private. Our core philosophy is Local-First Processing.
1. Local Processing (Client-Side)
When you select your TikTok data file (JSON), all analysis and calculations are performed directly on your device within your web browser. Your TikTok data NEVER leaves your device.
- We do not upload your watch history.
- We do not upload your messages or likes.
- We do not upload your profile information.
2. No Server-Side Storage
Because the processing happens locally, we have no database where your TikTok logs are stored. Once you close the browser tab, the data is gone from the application's memory.
3. Third-Party Analytics
We use standard web analytics tools (like Google Analytics and Yandex Metrika) to understand how many people visit our site and which features are used most often. These tools track general usage patterns (like button clicks) but **never** have access to the contents of your TikTok data file.
4. Leaderboard (Opt-in)
If you choose to use the "Leaderboard" feature, only the specific stats you choose to share (like your total watch count and username/anonymous ID) are sent to our database. This is completely optional and only happens when you explicitly click "Add to Leaderboard".
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
